Who is in the Working Awareness Network?…
And Why are they there?

Read their testimonies below. Hear how business professionals found support in community to mindfully develop Purpose, Play and Profit in their work. And listen to the benefits that this Mindfulness brought to their personal and professional worlds.
I hate WAN. That's why I LOVE it.
I hate WAN. That's why I LOVE it. I hate it because it drives me to open up, change, and grow. I desire this and really resist it. The beauty of WAN is that you can go at your own pace and create your own growth. The fearsome part is that, if you engage in the process, you will grow.
I love WAN because of the intention of the fellow WANsters to show up and be authentic. They help hold me accountable in quite a nice way, a heartfelt way. Very often I resist WAN and yet it fulfills a need for community, insight, inspiration, support, and hope. Maybe it is hard for me to ask for help. But I do love it when I receive that help. And I do love it when I can support and help others. That is what WAN is all about.

When I first learned about WAN I was concerned about the time commitment ...
I joined WAN because I wanted to be a part of a professional community that fosters compassion through business. I am focused on personal mastery; seeking to continually clarify and deepen my personal vision through communication and business. The monthly WAN meeting provides insightful resources for personal and professional growth filling my need.
When I first learned about WAN I was concerned about the time commitment to the monthly group meeting and the weekly buddy conference call. I have a busy schedule with multiple meetings and I am a frequent traveler. I was concerned I would not be able to create the time in my schedule required for the meetings and conference calls. Now, I’ve realized the importance of the commitment and how the time spent in the WAN community propels me forward in my career and personal life. The time spent within the WAN community is an investment in me and well worth it.
The benefits I am experiencing as a WAN member include healthier business and personal relationships, spiritual growth, a stronger work-life balance, and goal achievement through planning. I am learning how to foster healthy business and personal relationships by approaching communication from my heart. I am leaning where I can let go of projects to work less, providing more time for my own self development. I now set monthly and weekly goals and review them with my buddy team where I am supported and encouraged. All these benefits are helping me become a more balanced, productive and happy being.

It may not have been a huge step for mankind, but holding a snake—no matter how tiny—was VAST for me
I joined WAN several months ago with some vague sense that I might meet some nice people and gain a better sense of "possibility" for where my accounting consulting business should be headed. That has happened … and much more! I have benefited in so many ways in such a short time: from coming out of the closet on my real business goals to facing a huge life-time phobia of snakes. It may not have been a huge step for mankind, but holding a snake—no matter how tiny—was VAST for me. I did it because my buddy group decided to take on the challenge of a BIG FEAR. I have a long way to go to be successful in my new business endeavors and to become a major snake handler, yet I'm confident I can do both within WAN. Could I have said that 6 months ago? No way.

I only hesitated momentarily--of course I wanted to know "how it all works."
When I learned of the Working Awareness Network I was drawn to join because I aim to say YES to opportunities that support me in being more of the being I came to the planet to be! I only hesitated momentarily--of course I wanted to know "how it all works." I attended one of the monthly meetings as a guest, and decided after that first meeting that I knew enough about it to jump in! The meeting was a refreshing break from my routine, I met a room full of quality people who "get it," and I took away some valuable inspiration.
I have several new friends through WAN, many of whom are also now my clients. Connecting with spiritually-aware people brings a higher vibration to my life and to my work. I look forward to each monthly meeting and to the Buddy Call each week with my WAN Buddy Group. Knowing that two other people are aware of my goals and supporting me in achieving them is really powerful and effective. I am achieving my goals faster due to the accountability factor!
